(5 - 7 Year olds)
Petite/Mini Jazz
Flexibility, strength and coordination are all benefits you gain from Jazz, dancing to all your favourite songs you hear on the radio today! Every dancer at Nadine's Academy is encouraged to participate in at least one jazz class per week, alongside a dance KTL class.
Petite/Mini KTL (Kicks, Turns, Leaps)
The perfect class to learn all the technical requirements of dance focusing on flexibility, strength and coordination. This class promotes safe dance practice and not only educates the students to the correct technique, but also builds the child's confidence as they gain the ability to execute moves such as kicks, leaps and turns with complete precision
Petite/Mini Tap
This is the most rhythmic of the dance forms, is an excellent way to increase coordination of the mind and body and to develop a sense of rhythm, timing and expression.
Pre - Primary & Primary Ballet
A 45 minute class for those 5/6 years old and introduces the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabus of classical ballet. Ballet provides a strong technical foundation to support children through all styles of dance. It improves posture, co-ordination, flexibility, grace and strength.
Grade 1 Ballet
A 45 minute class for those 6/7 years olds and grows on the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabus of classical ballet started in Pre-Primary. Ballet provides a strong technical foundation to support children through all styles of dance. It improves posture, co-ordination, flexibility, grace and strength and develops with age and practice.
Petite/Mini Musical Theatre
An introduction to becoming a triple threat! Singing, dancing and acting skills are the focus of this fun-filled class which develops children’s self-confidence and brings together all their artistic and performance skills. The dynamic content of this class ensures students are trained in vocal coaching, along with dance techniques and acting skills. It’s a time to be yourself, relax, sing, dance and laugh! Students leave with a smile on their face and a buzz that will stay with them until their next lesson.
Petite/Mini Hip-Hop
An introductory combination of street funk, hip hop and pop similar to styles seen in music video clips. It focuses on lots of fun, confidence building and expression.
